Dave,

Your info no Wheatlands truck is correct. It was the tanker that wasn't there that was unique.

That Wheatland truck is one neat looking rig, so do tell, what makes the tanker unique?

The Tanker is a joint between two rigs. The Department purchased a middle 70's I think Autocar/4-guys tanker. They ran it for awhile. While searching the internet, the department found the remains of a 1996 KME 100' Platform that was rolled over by the Pittsburgh international airport. The department purchased the remains. They had a local shop mount the tank on the cab and chassis of the KME tower. So, it now is a 1996/76?/07 KME/4-Guys/Local.

I am interested in all of the equipment and apparatus used in fire fighting and ems service.

That would be it. I've got the chiefs number handy, just haven't been back to the area in 2 years. Maybe before the end of the year.

Neat rig, thanks much! Wish I knew about that department when I was in Mercer County back in 2004!
