Anyone know for sure?[/quote] Dave, You would be correct. See below. Bruce 1960 Ford C-600/Maxim, full cab, 750/200, enclosed walk-in rescue-pumper. Purchased used in 1983 from the Barren Hill Fire Company (Montgomery County, PA) by Leacock (Lancaster County, PA). Barren Hill repowered it with a Caterpiller diesel and automatic transmission in 1973. It had a 6KW Onan diesel generator. Leacock refurbed and repainted it in 1983. It was sold in 1991 to a local construction company. Seen in 1999 at the end of 13th Ave. in Prospect Park at Sullivans Salvage, rotting away.

I believe the first Denver rig is a 1979 Ford C-8000/Hahn 1000/750, FCP10-31.
The other Denver pumper is a 1972 Ford C-900/Young 1000/1000, #72-451.
THIS ENGINE WAS SITTING AT HOLLIDAYSBURG'S FIRE STATION A COUPLE YEARS AGO. IT IS AN EX- ALTOONA ENGINE.

[/quote] Dave, according to Leonard Alewine's Logan Twp. history, this 1926 Buffalo was the last rig of the Lakemont Terrace VFC, which was annexed by Altoona in 1929. The station and apparatus were sold to the city, and volunteers responded with a paid driver until 1942. It is listed on Peter West's list as privately owned.
