This & That from Here & There
[quote name='Bob-Ont' timestamp='1318203213' post='459790']

I passed by this rig 2 weeks ago. It has been moved around the corner and is now on 219 north of Penfield Road.

In my photo, 219 is behind the rig and a fire station is to the right, just out of the shot. The fire station is on a side road and faces away from 219. I could swear I was south of Brockway when I took the picture. Penfield Road @ 219 is miles north of that location.

On Thursday (22nd), Dan and I headed out to Adams County. I've been trying to shoot Irishtown longer than these two rigs have been there, without any luck, but I finally found someone!

Our last stop for the day was Stewartstown, where I had the pleasure of meeting former Baltimore Firefighter and author Bill Snyder. Bill was at the station to run that evenings Bingo event, but was very helpful in locating a driver.

On Friday, it rained, so we decided to go to the KME factory and look around at the new apparatus being built. On the way, we passed through New Tripoli. Dan was telling me about an International/KME interface rig they had. As we passed the firehouse, we saw that the bay doors were open, so we stopped to look at the rigs. One of the members there was more than happy to give us the grand tour. As time went on, I noticed the rain had stopped. I asked if he would mind pulling out their new rescue for a shot and he suggested that he'd pull them all out. Who was I to argue? <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Rolleyes' />
