My last day in Pennsylvania was Sunday (25th). Dan and I were in downtown Harrisburg before 9 AM. Thin, high clouds covered the sky most of the day and we really never got bright sunlight.

Our next stop was Hershey, where we met up with well known apparatus photographer and historian Richard Rudisill. I already had mediocre parade shots of Rescue 48 and Engine 48-2, and a blurry shot of Engine 48-1 that I tried to catch as they went on a run a couple years ago. I decided to shoot or reshoot everything.

We tried to get the black Sutphen from Cumbola and the matching silver/red Velocity's from Schuylkill Haven, but struck out at both places. We did luck out and find someone here.

On the way back to Dan's house, we passed through Virginville. I saw the bay doors were open and a pickup was parked outside, so we turned around and went back. It turned out to be one of the younger members mowing the lawn. A quick phone call and a few minutes later, the Chief was pulling the rigs out for us.
