They sit very low. The newer TDAs sit a bit higher but they too are "low riders".



When Dallas began to spec TDAs again, the trailers were designed to minimize reaching from ground level. The trade-off, unfortunately, is a "break over" angle that is so low that there are alot of areas these trucks cannot easily access.
