Great shots as always Howard.
I made a run down to Southern Maryland last week. Got a few new rigs in the area.
First up is Marbury's new Air Boat, a 2011 Diamondback. It's 20' long and powered by a Chevy LS1 with 525 HP. This thing is pretty neat on the open water!
They also got a new Fire Boat that's ready to go in service here shortly.
2011 29' Viking Welding/Response Marine powered by 2-300 HP Yamaha motors and has a 3500 GPM pump with 2 monitors.
From there rode over to Nanjemoy and shot their new Spartan Gladiator/Rosenbauer
1500/1500/20
This is the old Engine 42 that it is replacing:
1991 Simon-Duplex/3 D 1250/1250/5
Then went up to LaPlata and finally found somebody that could move the old 1930 Seagrave: Took it for a ride around the town to find a spot.

I finally caught up with Baltimore County's new Haz Mat Unit. I've been trying for quite a while now. It was actually in the station the other day and they weren't training anywhere!!
Got both of them together for the last time. It was suppose to leave to go to auction on Wednesday.
Ran down to the Shore a few days ago.
Elderado-Beookview new Pierce Saber. 1250/1800/30 Slated to go in service on November 19th with an official housing ceremony at the station.
Slid up to Sharptown and got the new Truck 14:
Spartan/Rosenbauer 1500/500 101' Cobra
Also got their antique 1926 Reo/Howe:
Does anybody know the pump and tank?? I thought I had it somewhere but did not!
Got a neat homemade brush unit at Taylors Island:
