I continued to Almont and Imlay City, but never located anyone at either place. The next morning (Monday), I headed down to Detroit. There were three rigs I didn't get last year. TAC-2 was in the shop, in pieces. The Command Post was at some function downtown where I probably couldn't have gotten decent shots anyway. Here's the one I did get.

Yes, the SLe cab is a bit different. That was HME's top of the line cab for a few years, but it seems to have disappeared from their line. Off the top of my head, I can't think of any in PA.

When I had been in Rochester Hills the day before, Station was not staffed, but became a staffed station for the first time on Monday morning. I returned to get their quint.

I spent the rest of the day hitting departments along the St. Clair River, which connects Lake St. Clair to Lake Huron and separates the US from Canada. Most of the departments have daytime staffing Monday through Friday.

The only HME like that in PA, that I know of is at Wilson Borough - Northampton County. It is a Metz ladder.
