Dave, was it you that just photographed all the rigs from the Groom Fire Dept? They have a brand new tanker coming next week from Southern Fire. I think it's a Peterbilt with a 2500 gallon tank.

Dual Unity Spitfire "Death Ray" warning lights on the cab roof, the dual stacks, the "take no prisoners" look that the Ford LTL cabs had...wow!

X- Franconia, VA (Engine 5)



This rig was dontated to EKU for use by the fire science program. I graduated in 1991 and believe that it was donated in 1990.

I took a few rides when it was assigned to Engine Company 5. Franconia VFD owned a matching pair of them when I was hired in 1984.
