The single rear tires would indicate that this rigs is a "Rear Admiral" with all wheel steering. Don't hold me to it, but I think Pennsburg bought this one used from Edina, MN.[/quote] Dave, You are correct. See below from Al Powell's files. Bruce 1969 Seagrave, series, canopy cab, 100 ft Rear Admiral RBL aerial ladder, 4 wheel steering option-under 10 mph, RW 671 Detroit diesel, Allison 4-speed auto trans, 5 KW Onan gasoline generator, in 1983 purchased from Edina 65-11 (Hennepin Co.),MN where in service as Truck 90 for $52,759, housed 8-18-84, was Seagrave demo with 85 ft ladder-Chicago was interested in 100 ft ladders only so Seagrave replaced ladder and sold to Chicago, original 85 ft ladder sold to Columbus,IN as replacement for their 1946 Seagrave’s main (ser.no.C7205 painted 12-11- 46), completely refurbed by co.members under direction of member Bill Butterweck-skilled auto and truck body mechanic- repainted RW from RBL, in 1994 ladder failed certification testing, in 1995 offered for sale, in 1996 asked $10,000 obo-sold to dealer in FL or AL?
