Looks to me that it overhangs the clearance lights, which might make it look crooked.

Dave, I hope you don't mind me posting in your thread, but is this the Seagrave P 4-door engine that you were referring to?

Hamlin NY (Monroe County) ran a Seagrave engine similar to this for some period of time... I don't think they were the original owners though.

After further review.......

I seem to recall that they told me that this Seagrave came from Missouri, but I can't guarantee that. Also, the style door handles were not all that common on a Seagrave, mainly used in the early 1970's. Maybe that will narrow it down a bit.

Where did you shoot this, Andrew? Any chance it's still there?
Reply
Dave, I shot this somewhere near Cleveland, TN back in 2007, on the day you, Mark and I shot all those Chattanooga and Tri-Community trucks. As Mark and I were coming to meet you that morning, we passed this truck sitting inside a fenced in business of some kind. We were on some 4-lane highway and the business was on the left side of the road as we were headed towards Chattanooga. The gate was locked, so there was no hope of getting inside the gate to get specs. I got this pic by sticking my lens through the chain-link fence.

Thanks for the info. Maybe Mark remembers exactly where it was since he was driving that day. I wonder if it's still there.
