Please post (or send) I will forward this info to the requester. The only thing that would make his lead correct would be if there was two Seagrave rigs or another station.
Thanks for the help Guys!
Boston FD in PA? You got to be kidding! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> I never heard about this department before.
Kennet Square, both rigs are Brucos. The tiller originally from Milwaukee, a 1954 Seagrave 85' stick, Bruco did the rehab on it adding the Ford C cab. This is from my now fading memory, lets see if I'm correct......
I believe this engine was Ex-Malverne, NY but I am not 100% sure, it was a pretty nice engine though when it was in service. I never figured out if it was gas or diesel powered but pretty sure it had a 1,000 gpm pump and a 750 gallon tank. *Cue the Bruce Anderson theme song here* LOL
1972 Ford C-900/Seagrave tiller trailer, full cab, 100 ft steel ladder. The trailer is a 1954 which was purchased used from the Milwaukee Fire Department, WI. It was sent to Bruco in 1989 for a total refurb. The 1954 ladder was replaced with a 1965 Seagrave ladder from Clark, NV. It finally came back in 1991 with high side compartments on the tiller trailer with roll-up doors, 7.5 KW generator. The ladder was out of service at the end of 1994 and the most of 1995 due to the bearings being shot in the turntable. It was finally sent out for repair in 10/95. The tractor has a 477 CI gas engine, automatic. It was finally taken out of service in 12/2000, would not pass ladder certification, company did not want to put anymore money into it. Sold in 09/03 out of the fire service to Tom Quinn of West Grove. For sale on E-Bay in 2/07. Purchased by Allen Baldwin, Captain of the Gettysburg FD.
Yea Dave – I got the hint. You were correct.
ATGLEN
1968 Mack C125, canopy cab, 1250/1000. This was purchased used in 1988 from Northeast Fire Apparatus who had purchased it from Malverne, Long Island New York who had purchased it used from Rockville Center, New York. It was sold to a dealer from Alabama in late 1993 who resold to Augusta (Richmond County), GA who sold it to a fire company in South Carolina
