It was assigned as Engine 6 from 1991 to 2000.After that it was reserve till 2006 and taken OOS and sold.It was kept in good shape while in Norfolk, sucks to see it like that. There is a mixture of older rigs at the landfill by the way.

I caught this back around 2000 I think it was, Fire House No. 6, before they closed the house on Va. Beach Blvd and moved then to the former fire house 3 on Pembroke.

Station 6 was moved to Sta 3 in 1997 and # 3 House became 6 House.Sta 6 became sta 3 and only housed a Squad,Hazmat and Battalion. They closed in 2005.All this was done because once the current Station 1 was opened you had two engines within sight of each other. They moved E6 to sta 3 for better response time.

I can remember back in '87 when Vol's in Driver purchased this rig from a Dept in L.I.N.Y., it was White over Lime, served Driver well. BTW it's an Oren.

I also found two other trucks that I could not find any information on. They were rusted and covered up with vines.

First is a city service truck

The next one was just the pump and body of the truck. It had an American Barton pump is the only thing I could find.
