It is. It enclosed the pump panel. Note the lack of compartment door handles and the flush door handles on the cab. They were going for a streamlined look. East Point, GA had one that they nicknamed "Moon Buggy".

Yes the roll up door was standrad. I think the name of this model was the vantage or something like that. A better idea that did not fly. only a few sold, and I think this one may have been a demo unit first.
New Kensington Engine 2 on the scene at a structure fire at David Palmers Music Store in May of 1980. That day Engine 2 layed dual lines supplying the aerial. The Hamerly, as we called it was in service as Engine 2 from May of 1979 until December of 2001. It was placed in reserve until August of 2010 then sold to Wexcon Const. in Reading.
