Hiwassee Dam, NC has this 2008 IHC 4400 Durastar/Crimson 1500/1000 Pumper as Engine #2052, SO#131321. They say they'll be getting another one identical to this within a year along with a third fire station. Their colors match the local school's colors.

They just keep getting better and better in H-Dam. I wish this one were cleaner for the shot but, oh well, I got it anyway. It's a recently repainted, former Hillsborough County, FL rig and is a 1986 White/American Eagle 500/3500 Tanker #2063 SO#C-1016.

And last, but certainly not least for this day's venture is Tanker 2062, a 1988 Mack R/Pierce 1000/1600 pumper, SO#E-4177. I'm told it served in Bel Alton, Maryland in its prior life. Thanks for the information Andrew.

Is this spare air bottles I see sitting on top of the truck?

No Travis, those are the nitrous bottles that power the hydraulics on the truck. When they get the music and the lights going, this bounces the truck up and down to the beat and allows the truck to sit down on the ground when they get to a fire scene.

Today, I got the pleasure of photographing and driving this 2011 Spartan Furion/Southern Fire 1750/700/20F pumper set for delivery to Eton, GA Fire Dept. It bears SO#SF110184857.

I'm not too sure about the specs on this rig but it's a 1998 Ford F550/TEC from Clarks Chapel, NC Fire Rescue. I'm told it has an 18HP pump, 300 GWT and 30 gallon foam tank.

And Franklin, NC has this brand new 2011 Pierce Impel 2000/500/10F/75' rig as Ladder 1, Job #24110.

Well, it's been months since I've posted photos on here. At long last I was finally able to shoot this piece of the Fannin County, GA Fire Dept. It's a 1983 Spartan/E-One 1250-300-80' Ladder, Ex-Halton City, TX SO#2958.



Maybe I'll get around to posting some more in the next day or so.

Fannin County Station 1 runs this 2009 Freightliner M2/E-One Tradition 1250/1000 Pumper, SO#135601.

Another really nice looking piece of the Fannin County Fire Dept. is this 1999 Ford F650/American Light & Air unit. It's stationed at Station 1 as well. Fannin County has a neat array of equipment although I haven't been able to photograph it all. They're a great bunch of guys to work with.

I understand that this was the first ever E\-One aerial built, and is the only one without the swirl finish on the ladder.

Today, I ventured back up to one of my favorite departments, Valleytown Fire Rescue in Andrews, NC. Earlier in the year, they were given this Ex-Fort Stewart/Hunter AFF engine. It's a 1989/1998 E\-One 1000/500/30F engine, SO#18704. This photo was taken in front of Valleytown's station before the truck was relettered.
