Sold to West Lebanon, Indiana County, PA; however, nice pictures regardless. As an occassional resident of Fort Indiantown Gap, it is neat to see the apparatus history in Lebanon County.

Correct, they're now in service at Upper Craig Creek VFD in Craig County, VA. My notes indicate that these are possibly the first two stainless steel bodies that ALF built? I'm not an ALF expert by any means, so don't count that information as reliable.

Ex: Weldon Fire Company, Montgomery County, PA. (org. owner) That these were the first "production" stainless steel apparatus built by ALF is a story I had always heard, too! <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/3_12_21.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='3_12_21' /> <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/stirpot.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Stirpot' />

Easy Dave, you really need to stop taking things personally... he was correcting your information and he has that right. You don't run and research the rigs but thankfully there are other people who do and when one of them steps up to correct you, you accept the help, write it down in your reference book and move on. I for one am tired of seeing your outbursts when someone corrects you!!

Amen brother, and it wasn't even a correction, it was just an additional tidbit of info, that's all. Someone needs to chill out.

ok, the info on the Ono rig above is as follows:

its a 1972 Seagrave rehabbed by Interstate in 1993. it was Ex-L113 with Seagrave serial # B73156. the aerial on this rig was from L37's 1978 Seagrave serial # J75237. the rig that that aerial came off went to New Cumberland, and was also refurbed by Interstate. At the time I shot this rig in 1999 Ono also had a 1974 Seagrave aerial in their firehouse, yellow in color from FDNY, then Northampton PA Serial # D75038 that they were parting out, but was still marked for Northampton. I do not know the disposition of this one.

This rig was not the one from Bensalem. The one from Bensalem is a 1981 Ex-L42 that had a new Seagrave Lo-Pro cab installed by Seagrave in 1993. . This one has since been sold to Nesquehoning, PA.

both rigs are pictured below
