It would have been great if we could have split the thread into eastern or western PA.

Why? If there are no post for a while in any of the threads, they get dropped. (RE: there was a Delaware County thread before the current one)

At least with the PA thread it will not be deleted.

I would like to see a PA (Keystone) thread with sub threads, maybe by county or regions.

That sounds good to me!

This Rescue from Eden Fire Co. met a very tragic end. Responding to a structure fire, it left the road and struck a tree, a firefighter riding tailboard was killed.

I knew that I had a photo of a ladder truck from Ono, Pa but it wasn't a Mack. I found this, a 55 Ford F with a 65ft Seagrave stick that was formerly parked at the New Franklin, Pa. firehouse.

I RODE ON THAT TRUCK YEARS AGO. WE USED TO RIDE ON THE SIDE BACK THEN ON THE STEPS OVER THE WHEELS. NO FUN IN THE WINTER THOUGH.

I can remember when they ran the truck with an old ambulance as a squad truck.

The manpower and tools on the squad, and the ladders on the truck.
