Do you have a shot of Alpha FC State College's main station or Hope FC in Philipsburg?

Quote:I used to work in Allentown and I too have seen this building and wondered about it since I’d never heard of that fire company.   A co-worker explained that Mountainville was once an independent town with its own fire company but this area is now part of the City of Allentown and fire protection is provided by Allentown Fire Department.  He said the “fire company” continues to exist as a social organization but does not have fire apparatus; not sure how that works.
Basically they run as a private club and/or a non-profit organization.  We have had a few old volunteer fire companies in CT that were disbanded due to a career force being placed in operation.  The organization just doesn't do any active firefighting in the town.

A while back the old Perseverance station in Lebanon was brought up, forgot I found this picture at my dad's house a couple of years ago.  A really neat old picture showing a classic time in the city with the Persie's old station. My dad was with the First Aid and Safety Patrol for over 50 years when he passed away in 2010 and served on the board of directors.
