My immediate first thought on this rig was that it looks like the Charlie Brown Christmas Tree of Fire Engines. Poor thing.

Same difference. It still has a telescoping boom.

Squrt's do not have a telescoping boom. The Snozel's have a combination telescoping ,articulating boom.

Yes, they do. At least mine does. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Wink' />

That being said, you are right that there is a marked difference between Snozzle's and Squrts.

How are Philly's KME's doing? It seems all manufacturers have some bugs-especially with all the electronics these days...but I just read that Alanta had a few issues with theirs...I ask because we are considering them for my dept...

Did they spec out deck guns on this batch?

Based solely off of the pictures on facebook, it doesn't look like that one has it.

Phillys KME are still running strong ours is a 95 it will be replaced this year but beside regular mechanical issues its a great truck. I know when they where first delivered they had some problems. Trucks that have been running hard for 15 plus years they held up pretty well. The new kmes do not have deck guns which means the four deluge companies when replaced will become regular engine companies. Dont like the ldea of not having deck guns.

[sup]I'm looking for some info on the fleet of Seagrave Invader pumpers that Philly bought back in 1984-85. Does anyone have a list that shows serial number with shop number and first company assignment? Even a list that just shows shop number and original company assignment will help. Thanks![/sup]
