This was the first apparatus used by the Francisco FD when they started up in the 1970's.  The last digit is missing from the serial number plate, so a positive historical identification is not yet possible, but they said it came from Pennsylvania.  The number we did get, 75S-237?, limits the search to ten possibilities, 2370 to 2379.  With the assistance of Brother Martinelli, I have found photos of seven and eliminated each one, narrowing the search to three possibles.

This rig is a bit unusual.  It can be used as a drafting pump or a relay pump.

Here is one for the "Relic" section.....  This rig formerly served Franklin, but was sold to Cana, VA and then returned to Franklin.  It sits in a fenced in lot behind the station.

Here is something you don't see every day.  As popular as this chassis was in its day, American LaFrance rarely used it.  There were maybe a half dozen of them.  Unfortunately, it could not be moved due to an issue with the brakes.  An inside shot beats no shot!
