<div> <div> Just got back from a quick 3 day jaunt to the fire and arson capital of the world..Detroit. As always saw some interesting things. First few images are some apparatus shots..the tillers seem to be disappearing as they are pretty beat up...one ALF tiller was picked up for scrap while we were in town.. </div> </div> Made a box right behind the companies and it must have looked good for a minute as they had stretched but did not charge the bundle. <div> Thenext few images were from a pin in wreck...I believe the occupied vehicle was fleeing gunshots and piled into the parked car winding up on the lawn of a dwelling. The driver was pinned under the dash and in full arrest when transported..you can also see another victim on the ground in the lower left portion of the frame as well. I believe a total of 4 ambos were used. The squad used the jaws and a ram to complete the extrication. </div> <div> <div>A small job in Highland park..I always like shots of a quint pumping as an engine on the fireground.... </div> </div> <div> <div>....This next job was a dwelling going at French Rd and Montileu...we couldn't understand that 2nd street on the radio..by the time we finally found it there was nothing left. </div> </div> <div> <div>...played with some B&W and silhouette shots anyway... </div> </div> <div> <div>..Chomped by a million mosquitos too!! <div> </div> </div> </div> <div> <div> The pickup truck was a being used as a buggy I believe <div> </div> </div> </div>
This was the big job of the trip..a 4 flat..going..We arrived a few minutes after the first companies 1456 Canton..
..Strictly a cover the exposures and let it go job..
