Las Vegas, NV Warehouse Fire Alexander and Lamb 4-13-2014

This morning at around 5 am I heard a lot of sirens but did not think anything about since I live in North Las Vegas, truth be told we hear sirens all the time. It was not till I turned on my cell phone at around 6 am that I found out that there was a fire right behind our house. At the time that I looked outside this is the smoke I saw

 



 



 



 

So I did not really think much about it

It was not until I saw this, Las Vegas Fire and Rescue Truck 1 with the bucket up that I thought there might be more to it.

 



 

But at the time I was getting ready for work so I could not do anything.

When I left for work I decided that i would take a short detour on my way to work and was able to get a picture of the Battalion Chief from CCFD, North Las Vegas Engine 57, CCFD Rescue 23, and North Las Vegas Engine 51 as they were repacking hose and trying to get back into service.

Since the street was open I pull up a little was able to get this picture of CCFD Engine 23 on the scene.

 



 

I guess this taught me a lesson to not take it for granted that it was just another police issue.

 

The City of Las Vegas Fire Department was on Scene as was North Las Vegas and Clark County.
