THINGS FROM MY COLLECTION
[quote name='tascman' timestamp='1333312294' post='479685']

Last for this early spring evening will be this wonderful 1958 Mack B/Heiser 1500/200 pumper that served Seattle, WA. Seattle had several of these pumpers that were powered by some big Hall-Scott gas engines, hence, the longer hoods. Mattson Collection <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/usa.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Usa' />

I should have more in a bit. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Big Grin' />

Although I was too young to take photos back then, when I was in grade school living in Seattle, we lived down the same street (13th St, NW) from the quarters of Seattle Engine 20, and they had one of these rigs. Saw it almost daily on runs in the neighborhood. Brings back the memories. And the house we rented was owned by a guy who lived across the street from us and he was a Battalion Chief with the Seattle FD !!
