Looks like a hose to direct the discharge from the bleeder valve away from the panel and operator....
Mechanical engineers build weapons, whereas civil engineers build targets.

Why do these rigs have some many warning lights? I am all for being seen, but we all know how intense these new LEDs are, I think they maybe a little over kill just my opinion.

Its kind of nice in my opinion that they are using stripped/painted on numbers now instead of the slide out placards. Makes the rig seem more personal. I like it.
