According to South Coast Fire Fire Equipment,(the local Pierce dealer) Glendale FD will be receiving a new International/Pierce Type 3 engine. It is lettered as Engine 221.

Old news the rig is been town for several weeks already it's on my "to do" list.

I noticed that its not uncommon for fire departments in southern California to run with dry pumps. Just wondering why?

This unit was severly damaged last night. While responding to a medical call Engien 32 was broadsided by a Chevy Malibu. The two firefighters in the passenger compartment of Engine 32 and the two occupants of the civilain vehicle were taken to a nearby ER unkown on there condtions.
