No. 244 was the Seattle Shop #. I'm not sure what the "TE" stood for. This Mack B had a Mack serial # of B21F-1005 and served at Engine 2, Engine 8 and Engine 22 before going into reserve in 1981. The department sold it in March, 1992. Info is from Richard Schneider, Seattle FD retired. No. 245 was Mack serial #B21F-1009 and served at E10, E19, E13, E10, E41, E28 and E40 before becoming a reserve piece in October 1980. It was sold on March 19, 1992.



These pumpers had Hall-Scott 324 hp gas engines and cost the department $18,905.22. Seattle had six of these Mack B/Heiser pumpers. Thanks to Richard Schneider for his detailed Seattle history info.

I will continue with a few more rigs from Washington state taken by Bill Hattersley. Neuwaukum, WA Engine # 46 was this awesome 1980 Mack Cruiseliner/1986 Western States 1250/1450 pumper-tanker. Bill notes that this apparatus was built upon a used dump truck chassis. s/n # 1047.
