ORIGINALLY FROM TEXAS
THE FIRST TIME I WENT TO HAVE IT PULLED OUT THE COMPARTMENT DOOR WAS LEFT UP FROM A WORKING HOUSE FIRE EARLIER THAT DAY. THE COMPARTMENT DOOR GOT CAUGHT ON THE BAY DOOR DAMAGING THE DOORWAY.
WHEN I WENT BACK A COUPLE MONTHS LATER, I WAS TOLD THEY HOPE IT GOES BETTER THIS TIME. THE LAST TIME THEY PULLED IT OUT FOR PHOTOS THEY DAMAGED THE DOOR. I REPLIED THAT I WAS THE ONE THEY WERE DOING IT FOR.

Dave something to add to your shoot list is Mcconnellsburg New Brush 2-56, Ambulance 2-56 and 3-56, and in the new year there will be a 2012 Kenworth T800 Pierce Tanker at Needmore Co.55, it will replace the current International but unknown what will happen to it.

ONE CORRECTION. THE TOWER WENT TO PATTON. I THINK IT CAME FROM WEST MIFFLIN NEAR PITTSBURGH.

interesting. Everett's scope got scrapped when it was replaced by this Sutphen, then Patton's scope got replaced, also by the same Sutphen!

Blue Ridge Summit may or may not be ordering a Rescue Squad since the old one was sold to Biglersville Pa in ( Adams County ), Seen something about Waynesboro looking at a Rescue Engine or it may have been a Rescue ( cant seem to find it now ). Pleasant Hall has a new Ambo that should be delievered soon.
Hope that helps

Blue Ridge Summit replaced the Squad with the Seagrave rescue engine they just purchased, Waynesboro has been on the fence/off the fence with thier squad... at first it was supposed to be a straight squad.. now I am hearing a Rescue-Pumper. Orignally they were leaning heavy on Sutphen, but now I don't know anymore because there have been so many different things thrown around.
Blue Ridge did and didn't replace the Pierce squad with the new engine. For now it is the replacement, but they are looking in the future for a new Rescue/Engine.
Dave, still posting pics from 2007? Well, it was a good year.
