Engine 5 from Kalaheo came to our hotel for a medical call, as Engine 4 was already out on a call. Stations on Kauai are quite a distance apart, so this was a long run for them. Due to where they were parked I had to take this picture from above on a parking garage. Engine 5 had with it Truck 5. All of Kauai's Engines (except Engine 4) are two piece companies. The Trucks are essentially mini-pumpers that are designed to handle Kauai's rough rural roads.
That's all the rigs I got on the trip -- maybe somebody can do a little better and more thorough rundown on their next vacation. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Job# 25729... no picture yet but I got the order confirmed today. Should be posting my new rescue in October. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/fireman.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
