The reason being that they're snozzles not squrts. I think it's ridiculous but hey what do I know?

When Wilmington, DE purchased a
Pierce Skyboom in 2006, it was replacing a Telesqurt (similar type apparatus). The radio designation for the old piece was "Telesqurt 2" or TS-2 for short, and the new piece is "Skyboom 2" or SB-2 for short....not sure if there is a copyright issue or something else going on, but we were told that it couldn't be called a telesqurt, even as a radio designator.....go figure. Might be the same forces at work here.

They have to do something. They cant keep running Squad 201. The truck is too small.
