Well, I was close! I couldn't recall exactly what they said and they got a run and left before I had everything written down.

I didn't realize you were nearby. We were moving along at a pretty good pace that morning and didn't have a lot of time. We've shot most of Greenville's stuff, just not the newest. PM me with your contact info and I'll let you know next time I'm headed up that way. There are still several rigs we didn't get in the area.

Nice pics Dave..... Any idea what other Co's got the new engines in Rome?? I'm thinking possibly 6 and or 7 as I have seen one on the west side of town, but havent been able to get close enough to see the small number on the door...

As for the Greenville SC pics.... Does Greenville Co. EMS still running the rescues or has the FD taken over those duties being there 04 Rescue 1 was sold....??

I was told that the four new pumpers were assigned to outlying stations, but I'm not sure which ones. Station 10 was the only one in the direction we were headed.

I can't answer the other question, perhaps our resident Greenville Dispatcher can.

Yes I can. Greenville county EMS does not run The rescue trucks any more. Yes it is handeled by the Fds through out the county. Most all the departments have a rescue truck of some form or another. Some of the bigger Depts in the county will assist with their rescue truck to nearby districts if needed. Also There is the Greenville county Emergency Response team (GCERT) that handle various Rescue, Hazmat, and COBRA incedents. There are 6 trucks stationed thru out the county with various Equipment. Also Specialized Trailors as well. We also have Regional rescue team1 (RRT-1) stationed at Greenville station 5 that can respond anywhere in the upstate SC region if requested. Hope that helps
