Seems to be a new trend. Bendict, MD did it on their new engine and all 4 of Howard County's new career engines will have it too.

I know Lutherville has had 3 engines ever since I think the mid 90's, and the oldest, which is now that one, they use as a reserve for their company or during big fires I would think.
