unfortunately things like this are usually word of mouth, as in "hey I saw this rig on the highway, or in a lot, or in service in xx town." did you check with the department that owned it originally? these rigs didnt have VIN's per se, as they were built before 1980, so the serial number is all you have to go on. if you have someone that could run the serial thru DMV you might get a hit on that. I have a pretty large Mack database for all the models post 1940, and I am still missing info, or picking up pieces of info here and other places.

Rohrestown – 1967 Mack C95F, canopy cab, 1000/500, delivered 8/21/67. It was converted to a foam unit in 1988 in which it carried 500 gallons of foam, sold in 1995 to Northeast Fire Apparatus, re-sold to a ALabama location.
Strasburg – 1972 Mack CF-611-F10, canopy cab, 1000/500, delivered 6/30/72. Purchased used in 1985 from the FDNY where it served as Engine 163 for $10,000. It has a 2 speed automatic and a 6 Kw generator, Thermodyne, 260HP. It was sent to Page-Lambert where it was refurbed with a new aluminum body, a new 750 gallon water tank, and it was repainted at a cost of $67,000. It was sold in 1994 to Franklin FC #4 of Chambersburg (Franklin County) for $32,500. Franklin sold it in 1997 to a Dr. Orange of Fayetteville, PA – a local Mack collector. In 2007 being kept at the Franklin County Public Training Center in Chambersburg.
Leola – 1974 Mack MB685/Howe, canopy cab, 1000/640, high side compartments both sides, A frame ladder rack over hose bed. Sold to a fire company in OK in 1996.
Masteronsville - 1978 Mack CF686-F, canopy cab, 1000/1000, plated booster reels, 285 HP motor, automatic, 6 KW Onan diesel generator, cost $89,000, Guardian gates at jump seats added later. Sold in 1999 to the Highspire Fire Company (Dauphin County). Highspire enclosed the cab and added a FDNY style hose cover by New Lexington.
