This rig we found outside Appalchia VFD in Virginia, not sure the full story on this one but it did not look like they were using it. Andrew and I believe this was a glider kit from an older truck. Does anyone know for sure?

One of my best friends is a Lt. on the job in Palatine Rural. I rode with him in June of '95 and rode on this rig.............Got some prints of this rig from that 1995 trip, but will have to dig them up

Found this Mack CF behind an Ocean City (MD) firehouse before today's parade. Faded lettering on the driver's door indicated it had been assigned to "Academy" somewhere. Sadly, I cut the delivery year off the boiler plate pic I took but the plate does say:

[/quote] SRFIREOFFICIAL , Thanks for the pic. My dad was the batt. chief of fleet maint. at Orange County Fire Rescue. This Mack was very unique, and we 've always wondered what happened to it after it was sold. Mystery solved and thanks Mike for connecting the dots on the truck.
