Now from yesterday at the Maritime Gig Festival here in Gig Harbor. Gig Harbor Fire (Pierce County Fire District 5) E55. This is a late model Pierce Impel, they have 3 of these rigs. They have 4 other Pierces that are very similar, the only significant difference is high side compartments on both sides. Station 55 is one of GH's volunteer/resident stations.
And finally, head on. All of these pics were taken with my cell phone camera, so they're basically targets of opportunity. The GH pics were taken with my mini-Aussie pup tugging on my arm, so it was a little hard to get good ones. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Looks like the Gig Harbor rigs are pretty no-nonsense...I like that. Low hose beds, ladders on the side. Thanks for posting!

And finally a Spartan/H&W from South Whatcom Fire Authority.
Not exactly the picture of a safe operation. I know some people who would lose their minds.
In a photo taken in July of last year Bellevue E3 was just assigned Shop # 3367, a 2003 H&W, which was formerly assigned to E5. Sometime since then, E7 was disbanded due to budgetary reasons, and their 2011 Pierce Arrow, shop number 4034 was reassigned to E3. When 4034 was assigned to E3, 3367 became a spare at E4.
Ladder 1 now responds out of station 7. Here are the current assignments I have for the 2011 rigs as of July 2012. Bellevue E6 2011 Pierce Job Number 23856-01 BLV Shop # 3871 Bellevue E1 2011 Pierce Job Number 23856-02 BLV Shop # 3783 Bellevue E2 2011 Pierce Job Number 23856-03 BLV Shop # 3997 Bellevue E3 2011 Pierce Job Number 23856-04 BLV Shop # 4034 E7 has been disbanded, 4034 is now assigned to E3 Bellevue E5 2011 Pierce Job Number 23856-05 BLV Shop # 4035 And the 2006 Pierce Arrow rigs. Bellevue E8 is now assigned Shop # 3604. a 2006 Pierce, Job Number 19210-02, Former E6 Bellevue E9 is now assigned Shop # 3587, a 2006 Pierce, Job Number 19210-01, Former E1 Bob Lukas Photo
During 2011 at Seattle Fire Dept. L3 was assigned apparatus #5331 a 1992 Spartan LTI replacing same type apparatus #5333 which was sold at auction. 5331 was formally assigned to L5 from 1992 to 2000, then went into reserve status and was also used as a training rig at JTF. Now there only two ladder trucks left in the fleet still able to clear the 10' 10" entrance at station 6.

Here is a view of the jump seat access on LRFD KW APP #319. The jump seat area is still in the process of a renovation by one of the members, see that the window glass is still missing.
Any more detail pics of the old Seattle Kenworth warhorses? I always thought they were some of the coolest rigs on commercial chassis.
OK, here's a front end monster-like shot of a 1969 tractor. I'll be posting some more as I find them.

Last Saturday I did a walk around shoot of APP #319 on one of the only 58 days per year on average, when we have bright sunny skies, without clouds, from sun up to sunset in the Seattle area. It was a specacular day in Auburn WA.
