Dan, on my HP Scanjet 4070 flatbed scanner(kind of old), I do 1 at a time, the scanning time is a lot less than the photo editing/resizing time, about 4-5 minutes per photo/slide. I try to limit the scanning sessions to 1/2 hr. or less, because frankly it's tiring on my eyes...
I don't think Dave will mind if I present this example of a davepa photo from my collection that was scanned on my flatbed.
This 1946 Seagrave 500/300 is still owned by Blain,PA. VFC.
Cropping, color correction/enhancement, sharpening and resizing (Microsoft Picture-It Photo7.0)
