The Greeley tanker is not a Dade County Florida unit. It served in Monroe County, FL. Which is where the Keys are. Not sure what station though.

Tanker 81

2008 IHC/Rosenbauer 750/3100 was actually made by wildefire fire equipment at the time wildefire was not producing tankers they got together on this with the guys from kimbles and they decided to give it a shot by building a tanker so far it seems to be working out to this day.

Glad to see that the "Pink Panther" is alive and well. His picture and more lettering used to be on the sides of the tank.



Every time I see a shot of the brush truck, it looks different! Neat little rig!

Was there about 5 years ago, an older (being kind) firefighter told me they had to repair the tank and either couldn't afford and/or get permission to put the cartoon mural back on.

Why does this rig have such small tires? I have wondered that about other large (non-fire) trucks with very small tires. Is there some benefit to it?
