Please tell me this is NOT the old Sandy Spring Squad from 4!
A large part of my collection was purchased from a GOOD man, John Floyd. I give him FULL credit on his work, although I may miss something. Thanks John. Also Scott Mattson, Warren Jenkins, Michael Schwartzberg, and Mike Sanders. Thanks Guys.
Quote:Its probably early to answer but Bcfd ordered 4 pierce puc engines Im thinking they should go to the squads, but thats just my thinking. Any idea where they will be assigned too??
The next 4 that are the oldest in the fleet are 6, 35, 41, and 42....not saying that they will get them though!!
There are 9 2000 models in first line service yet.
Howard, The list our buddy "The FAC" gave me was completely different than this one, The only one on his list compared to yours is 6 Engine. I was told Engines 6,45,51,& 52 was where the new pumpers were going, but with Engine 8's recent misfortune this list could very easily change.

Why wouldnt they just give them to the Squads and then reassign the current squads to the older engines. Since the Pierce pucs are bigger. Not beign a pain in the rear, just curious and my 2 cents.

Kevin,
My list was the oldest ones according to when they were ordered and went in service.
He always has a different motive for replacement. Mileage, wear and tear, etc.
The other year Engine 26 was due for a new one(since it was the oldest on the roster) and then Engine 23 (omly 2 years old at that time) got the new one and 26 got 23's hand-me-down.
We were told to measure 52's bay to see if the new rig would fit. It will fit but the latest rumor I heard is 23 is gonna get 52's and we will get the hand me down.
