is saddle river involved as a water supply task force with the region? <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/huh.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/jawdrop.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' /> I really would not want to pack that much LDH anyday of the week or any point in my life. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/icon_crazy.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

The LEFT looks very pretty for a parade pack. I wonder why with this much hose, a REEL was not used.... No Firefighter would want to pack that much at once. <img src='http://www.firepics.net/groupboards/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsdown.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
Does anybody know what Saddle River replaced when they put the two American LaFrance's in service?

Saddle River has some rather large estates (large homes & mansions) some area i believe do not have Hydrants in some area's Upper Saddle River also runs a KME Pumper Tanker According to my North West Bergen Mutual Aid 50 anniversary journal1958-1998 looks like the ALF'S replaced a Mack MC (not sure on body ) & a older ALF
I think they may have had a Mack CF... They do not have a KME Pumper/Tanker, that was probably replaced by one of the ALF's.

Quote:Does anybody know what Saddle River replaced when they put the two American LaFrance's in service? They replaced a Mack/MC I forget whose body it had, was not a big name manufacturer, and I believe a late 60's ALF 900 series closed cab. They never had a Mack CF, they did have a C-85 that the Pierce Replaced.
Both Saddle River and Upper Saddle River have major water supply problems. Saddle River has some hydrants here and there. I don't recall seeing any hydrants in Upper Saddle River at all.
They had a 1982 Mack MC/Continental and a late 60's ALF. The C Model is wasting away behind the County EMS training center.
