I was unable to get the serial number off this truck. As soon as I shot everything at station 20, they were dispatched for an MVA on Business I-85.

If someone could help me with the specs I would appreciate it. This truck also went on the MVA so I didn't get the info off it.

Micah-

I'm not 100% certain, but I think that this is former District 13 ( Guilford County) Squad 13. If it is, it's a 1996' 250/300, 3-D s/n 2728. I also think that the Ford / 3-D squad is a former District 13 truck, ex-Squad 8.

One other note - the HME/Ferrara aerial was originally purchased by Redwood VFD (Durham County). They had it for about a year, then sold it to Guil-Rand.

1) 34?!?!?  I better slow down. Everybody will complain I'm hogging all the bandwidth.....

2) Yeah, I Am trying to set a record. Unfortunately, it's vinyl, and my turntable is broken....

3) Unlike SOME people I know, who are nearly a decade younger than me, I have to work for a living.  (yeah, I know. Wah, wah, wah....).

Thanks for the additional info Jon. You are correct about the FL/3D squad truck, Benjy sent me the same serial number and specs.

If you ever have time please add your NC stuff to the thread, especially the older stuff from the Triad area.

Here are a few more Guil-Rand trucks. Guil-Rand protects the towns of Trinity and Archdale from 5 stations and their name is shortened from the two counties they serve (Guilford and Randolph). From talking with some of the guys their biggest problem is monitoring 2 different pagers and then notifying the correct county dispatch where they are going!
