Was told the FD is in the process of specing out a new rig to replace this. Should be in service by Summer '13. Will be a Pierce, but upgrading the boom to a 100' model.

You'll notice the dual numbers on some of the trucks. Until last year, Forbush had a first-due area in Forsyth County where they were assigned station 36, in Yadkin County they are station 11. When Lewisville (in Forsyth Co.) built a new sub-station, this area disappeared and is now protected by Lewisville Station 13. Forbush will occasionally assist Lewisville, but not as frequently now.

I hope to get a better shot of this rig when it is actually placed into service. Until then, this shot will do. I'm sure Dave Organ or Jon Umbdenstock has a shot of this rig when it served Cary.
