When the man at the door said," Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms", I, naturally assumed it was a delivery!

Engine 201 arrived and found fire venting from the second floor windows. Eng. 201 hit a hydrant at the front of the house and its crew deployed crosslays to make attack on the fire. Eng. 191 took up a position on side D, they also deployed two crosslays.

Preliminary search was negative and it was later determined the occupants were not home at the time of the fire.

Ambulance 350 - Tri-Towns EMS replaced failed 1st. due EMS unit and Squad 18 filled air bottles in place of the failed response of Air14.

Fire was reported knocked down in 25 minutes. Units were held approx. and hour for overhaul. No injuries reported.

When you say "failed response" is that due to not getting a crew together or mechanical or what?

Not responding... No crew available or unit out of service.
