Just a few tidbits of info for Frank:



I stumbled upon two Hahns today in Alapaha, GA. The 1982 Hahn 84 1000/750 from Jackson Mills, NJ is still in service, but there was a brake issue and they couldn't move it. The guy tried, but it wouldn't budge. When I left the station, he was calling their mechanic....



The other rig is a 1968 Ford C/Hahn 1000/750 from East Freehold, NJ. It was sitting in the same station, batteries dead as a rock.

I am going to guess here....say 1966 or 67....

hints-fenders on cab thin type -pre 75

extended cab window small-indicative of mid sixties

extended cab has flared roof covering crew area

rescue body design indicative of the mid to late sixties....



anyone know for sure?

I seen an old company photo with all apparatus for Fredericksburg Fire Co., Lebanon County PA and it was an old black and white photo from a convention book.

it looks like an older (Mid 70's) Haun in the group. Does anyone have any info or photo's of this engine?

Westmont, NJ Eng 1513 was a 1966 Hahn 1250/500

[taurudak]

Westmont's 1966 Hahn was replaced by this 1987 Hahn 1500/750.
