After seeing these rigs together, the thought crossed my mind of the Muni departments in the central portion of the County merging. No apparatus painting needed!

Does Glendale still have the Seagrave WB. I believe last they were sharing it with a neighbor as a reserve. Thanks great photos Phil !!!!!

I dont believe so. Im not sure where it ended up, i havent seen it around in a long time. It was painted black/red from lime. Also im not sure what Glendale would us as a spare rig. I imagine they loan a neighboring piece.

Rick, Glendale used to park their 1981 Seagrave reserve pumper in our firehouse and we were free to use it if our-then frontline 1994 E\-One pumper went out of service for repairs. That was the deal we made with them.

The pumper was sold to the Piedmont (Mo.) Fire Department several years ago. I'm not sure if they still have it, though.

New Truck Alert: Webster Groves' new Rosenbauer/Spartan Gladiator Classic quint 2015 is supposed to be delivered in November.

BTW, for those that don't know, those pictures above of the various St. Louis County muni departments' rigs were taken at the Brentwood Recreational Center, where both fire and EMS training classes are held, since it's a central location and large enough to accommodate several personnel. This week, drivers training classes are going on there.
