Here is the inside apparatus bay at 43 Engine. Part of E 43 showing and RE 60 ex-E4 in the back.

Here I am checking the place out at the age of 6 in 1994. 43 Engine ran a 1982 Hendrickson Grumman at the time and was just rehabbed red&white recently.

Here was Reserve Engine 60. This was a 1974 Seagrave.

Here is Reserve Truck 45 (ex-T26) which at the time was a 1971 American-LaFrance rearmount. This was kept in the back of 4 Engine's house on E.Coldspring Lane & Northwood.

This was our first time visiting the BIG Superhouse, Steadman in early 1992. When we were there a box was dispatched for a dwelling fire on Mount Street as my dad recalled... Anyway, here I am looking down at 23 Engine with an old 1974 Seagrave getting ready to roll out onto Lombard. They might have been running a spare engine, but either way it was definitely a Seagrave. That was a loud one I remember.

Here is a cool shot facing out the other side of Steadman onto Eutaw. Engine 38 & Aerial Tower 102 responding on the same box.

Here was another trip to Steadman a couple years later. 38 Engine was rehabbed red&white then.

38 Engine sitting in the bay. I believe this was shortly before they were disbanded. The wagon went to Engine 29 after 38 was disbanded.

Engine 23 with their brand new Pierce Saber and the old 1970 Brockway Reserve Rescue originally from Arbutus VFD and Rescue 1's officerside door.

Engine 41 with a 1982 Spartan Pirsch. This wagon originally came from Engine 37 when they were disbanded in 1988.

Here was a real firetruck that ran... Truck Co.#4. As soon as we came around the corner from McCulloh onto McMechen we saw them responding up the street. My dad shot this from the car window.

We went inside the firehouse at 405 McMechen and Engine 13 was in there... They ran a 1987 Spartan/FMC that originally ran as Engine 28 until they were disbanded in 1989.

Behind Engine 13 in the apparatus bay was Reserve Engine 71 (ex-E20), which was another one of the 1974 Seagrave pumpers.
