One WOULD expect a warranty, it is after all a 2005 when you come down to it (well, the Power Steering is a 1984, the tank is still a 1965 LOL).... either way I am just poking fun at my little monster. It is a fun little piece, just needs a couple of things replaced/redone.... hoping to have it fixed by next year and out on the parade/muster circuit.
Good luck with it, seems like every time I go out with mine i end up making a parts run! Is Honey Pot still just running a Mini Pumper?
yes
Is that a temporary measure?

Is that a temporary measure?
You need to go to the Honey Pot section of Nanticoke sometime, and you wouldn't ask that. The whole reason for the "mini engine" and now mini pumper is because nothing bigger will fit in those streets. The old rig and the current one are ideal for the neighborhood there.

This is a photo of the Sunset Fire in North Lebanon Township, Leb. PA. In this photo on the left is Ebenezer Fire Co. Engine 9, which appears to be a Seagrave, possibly open cab, white over red. Does anyone have info on this Rig? I believe the photo is from the Lebanon Daily News.
Ebenezer's engine is a 1966 Seagrave canopy cab, 1000/750, rode it many times. And as stated, sold to Harwood. The other Seagrave is Goodwill, of Lebanon City, 1982 Seagrave 1500/500, this photo was when the engine was only about a year old.

Found some more old stuff from when the Philly Fire Muster used to be held down on Delaware Ave. (now Columbus Blvd!) 25-30 years ago.
Media, PA Eng 232 was once this 1976 Oshkosh/Pierce 1500/500.
Philadelphia Eng 3 was a 1979 American LaFrance Century 1000/500.
Philadelphia Foam Pumper 119 was a 1978 International/National Foam
Philly's Giant Deluge was a 1949 Reo/US Fire Apparatus.
Philly also had Light Wagon 3 - a Dodge (no other info).
Then I've got these next two which I know nothing about. A 1946 Brockway/Approved which was once Eng 802 from Huntingdon Valley.
And finally a 1948 Mack L85 750/185 from Collingdale, PA.

I'M THINKING COLLINGDALE, PA. (DELAWARE COUNTY)
Dave, you are absolutely right. I found another pic I had of this rig and it was labeled Collingdale. I edited the post. Thanks again. |
