Yes, the only one not in service is the 40's Seagrave.

Never seen one fire company have 3 trucks in one station. Their reason why they have 3 in service?

Paxtonia Fire Company (Dauphin County Pa 34) in the late '80's had 4 trucks in service. A tractor drawn ALF, a Seagrave RM stick, a Sutphen 100' TL and a Mack 75' single axle aerialscope. They were each used in different areas of their first due or as mutual aid dictated by the surroundings. The always had the right truck type for the application needed.

Mr. tflynn: can you confirm or deny that Paxtonia also ever had a 1976 (ish) Dodge/Hamerly mini pumper? No one there now can advise.
Reply
IIRC...I believe they did. It was app. the same time as the 4 trucks. They had a mini and a tanker company that were obtained to do service calls at the major construction sites on Allentown Blvd (Rt 22) when the shopping centers were built in their first due. Believe it was called Attack 34 and also doubled as a QRV rescue that ran ahead of their Pierce Arrow heavy rescue.

Ok Thanks. Any idea where it ended up and do you know anyone that would have a photo of it or any more information?

How does Monroe county apparatus numbering work?
Good question. Station # - 1 engines, 2 tankers, 4 rescues-

They are in the process of changing to station number and unit such as Rescue 42-1, Tanker 42-1, etc.

EMS 12,

Just curious if the Engine 14-2 is the same pumper that Seagrave lent to the movie about FDNY that had Richard Dean Anderson ( aka : Macgyver ) played a Captain , I think that it was lettered Engine 17 for the movie & then it was or had been a demonstrator.

Jimmy .

UNTIL THE NEXT BOX ALARM.

it was marked E17 for a movie, dont know what it was called though

Who is Marco? Does anyone know anymore about this, by chance where her twin went?
My immediate first thought on this rig was that it looks like the Charlie Brown Christmas Tree of Fire Engines. Poor thing.

Marco is a dealer and refurbisher of apparatus in Honey Brook, Pa. They usually purchase wrecked apparatus and fix it up. Not sure where the twin went. It was on govdeals a few weeks back.
