Massachusetts Fire Apparatus

After nearly 3 years since we formed a committee for a new ladder truck the City of Salem took delivery of Tower Ladder 2 today. The truck is a 2013 Pierce Arrow XT 95' mid-mount & will run out of HQ, replacing a well-worn 2001 Pierce Dash 105' rm that will remain as L1 out of our Essex St station. We hope to have both trucks in service as much as possible, manpower permitting.
One more pic, showing "The Witch City" that we had added on both pistons and in the front center of the cab....
Last one, close up of the ass end with the maltese cross one of our members came up with....
Looks great! I'm hoping to get over there in the next couple of days and get my shots...a matching TL-2 shirt too.
Rig Color and Graphic Scheme looks sweet.
It's actually a '68.

Noticed this at a local truck stop this morning. All I know is that it's a 1972 Maxim from Greenfield, Massachusetts. I don't have any information more then that.
