Birdsboro's guys for years kept saying the rig was from 157 on Rogers Ave. The 157 scope ended up a county away with the Hebron Fire Company. It was just recently replaced with a used Baltimore rig.

157's old rig was an '81. It was the first FDNY rig I ever rode on as a young buff. Any idea who Hebron sold it to?

The rig was sold to a gentleman by the name of John Paul. He contacted me a few days ago asking for some photos of the rig.

He is planning a total restoration.

Mike, do you have any shots of L157's 81 scope?
Reply
I have a bunch of them. He has contacted me too. why do I think the new owner is "Clyde", of "Bonnie and Clyde" infamy?

Was my information about the Mack Aerialscope from Birdsboro correct?

It was from 157 right?

I also have the Hebron Hose Co. of Lebanon County's former Truck 26 was the former 1982 FDNY L157.

I believe they also have this on one side of the boom, but I could be mistaken about that part.

Birdsboro's scope was L127, the city called it a 1979, but was delivered in 1980. Hebron's scope was L157, the city called it a 1981, but was delivered in 1982.
