Quote:Large foam concentrate loading/unloading device; just a guess.Yes, for 500 gal Foam totes. (no more moving cans) This piping allows the hook up and changing of multible totes and to be able to flow from them with out interrupting the foam supply. This is needed for the large capicity foam flows. Also the Malvern Mack B is the first Mack B-75 (#1001) I am not sure if it is the first B Mack because there was also B-85 & 95 (and a few others) Quote:Great pics Sir Shoop!Thats because you are a great tour guide.

Quote:Large foam concentrate loading/unloading device; just a guess. If you are talking about this silver curved pipe that is mounted at the top of the hose bed and dangles down in front of the compartments it appears to be an old applicator nozzle (I have also heard these called chimney nozzles and even once called a cellar nozzle-although this certainly would not be as effective as an old distributor nozzle.) They typically direct a low volume fog spray into hard to reach places. you can see the nozzle handle toward the rear of the truck.

I think that rig was built for another Pa Dept. that did not take it for some reason.
it was originally built for berwick but they did not have the funds to pay for it until they were able to sell the KME.
Quote:Monessen FD Does anyone have the specs on this rig? Pat and I came across this at Glassport at the Convention parade, I think it was Western.
