Here's what it looked like years ago in Old Fort, still wearing it's blue paint from the Harris Gardens FC in Union Beach, NJ, the previous owner. I believe this rig originally came from a department in the Midwest. It's a 1969 Mack CF 1250/500.

Then it was off to Union Sc for their parade. Missed it, but got to the Walmart where they set up their display.

Always some interesting trucks there.

I need some help with this one. Best I could come up with as far a service life was somewhere in Fla. So if anyone recognizes this one or knows...feel free to add.

Then for the last stop of the day was to Gaffney for a Fire Fighter competition. The info I had was it was supposed to last until 2 pm. I got there a little past noon by then things were over and The trucks were leaving. Soooo I was running hard to get what was there as fast as I could. missed several since i wasnt fast enough. However, I managed to catch this one after i left. I posted this one awhile back, just after delivery. Here she is after being letter for her new home.

Thats it for Fire Prevention Week. This past week I was in Myrtle Beach for a 911 (APCO) conference. Managed to shoot a couple of rigs. also posted 2 over in relics.

[/quote] This truck would be a former Palm Beach County, FL Fire Rescue rig. It was one of three purchased with patient transport capabilities but due to a poor spec person, was not built according to KKK ambulance specs so it wasn't used as a regular transport rig. I'm glad to finally see a picture of it in its newer home! Mark

Here's one of the trucks pictured above in its former home in Palm Beach County. One served at Station 33, one at Station 52, and one at Palm Beach Gardens Fire Dept. Station 61 as they were beginning their paramedic program.

Anyone have any shots of the inside layout of the crew cab? I'm curious what the setup looked like, all of the engines with patient transport capabilities I've ever seen have much larger cabs, this one doesn't look any different than any other "regular" engine with a crew cab that I've ever seen. Thanks!

It really wasn't any different that a regular engine. The space between the seats was left clear of consoles, etc. and a stretcher was mounted in the middle. The lack of other equipment, cabinets and door clearance were part of the problem we experienced as a part of poor spec-ing. Sorry, I don't have any pictures.
