Actually, this is a Fort Garry truck. You can see the FGFT logo above the right side roll-up door.

That being said, Dependable Emergency Vehicles (a local builder and Spartan ERV dealer) is building a tanker for Innisfuil that is due in the next month or two.

Thanks for the correction. I have to attribute my error to the late night posting and an over consumption of those mini halloween chocolate bars. Terriffic sugar buzz!

Finally, after a month of no sun, we have had 2 days straight of sunshine. Unfortunately, we also had lots of snow in between. Clarington, Ontario will be getting this new pumper in their new colour scheme soon.

The town of Gibsons, B.C. is a 40 minute ferry ride and 15 minute drive north of Vancouver. Fellow firepics member CdnFireBuff in Calgary mentioned in an E mail that he was expecting to see a new Pierce engine roll through there in December destined for Gibsons to replace E-3, a 1983 Anderson Engineering built Mack MC with a 1250 GPM pump and 800 gallon water tank.

When we visited Gibsons a few years ago, E-1 was a 1998 Superior Ford F 550 4x4 CAFS truck with 300 gallon water and twin 20 gallon foam tanks.
